Who: Frank and Alice
When: November the 28th-ish?
Where: Gryffindor Common Room
Why: Because Frank and Alice want to eat; it’s always about food to that guy!
Rating: PG

It was already later in the day, and Frank was suppose to meet with Alice for some lunch. He was down in the common room, sitting down on one of the couches, quill in his hand and parchment on his lap. He scratched his chin with the end of his quill and sighed.

Blank.

Then, it struck him!

“Bouncing bulbs are…plants shaped like…bulbs…that bounce…”

He laughed, softly to himself, plummeting down to the couch and continued on with his essay.

Alice came walking down the steps from the girl's dormitory. She had made sure she looked nice because she really wanted to make a good impression on him. And then she concocted a plan. She walked up behind him and covered his eyes with her hands. "Guess who?" She said happily.

Frank winced, squirming a little under Alice's hands.
"I, er...not Frank?" he said, reaching for the person's arms. "Well, you're not a boy..."

Alice laughed at his answer.
"Well of course not!" Alice said happily, "Take a better guess."

Frank smiled, knowing that it was Alice who was talking to him, but he went on being playful.

"Right, so you're not a boy...that must mean you're a girl! And, um, you're from Gryffindor...and, from the tone of your voice, you're a very striking girl too! Hm.......Alice?"

Alice took her hands off his eyes and walked over in front of him. "Why thank you, Mr. Longbottom!" She said smiling.

Frank grinned, sitting up on his seat, rolling up his parchment and placing it, neatly, next to him. "Alice!" He was at a lost of words, for he had finally given his full attention to her and, well, she was very striking.

"You look really, uh, pretty." He said, laughing softly and blushing just a tee-bit.

Alice smiled and held out her hand out to him to help him up. "So, what are the plans?" She said glancing towards the parchment Frank had just been working on and laughed, "Other than skiving off your homework."

Frank gave her a sheepish grin, taking her hand and scooting the parchment from view. "Homework-smuckwork...we are off to lunch, yes?"

He laid a hand on the middle of her lower back, leaving her away from the common room and through the portrait hole. "What do you fancy this evening, Ms Alice?"

Alice let Frank lead the way out of the common room and the portrait hole. "Oh, nothing in particular. It's up to you, Frank!" Alice said. She wasn't a particularly picky person and preferred to have other people make decisions about food.

"Oh," said Frank, bowing his head a little bit, trying to scramble about some suggestion. "Er, well, I wasn't expecting that."

He scratched the back of his head, still pondering with all the might in the world, what they would eat. "Um, do you like....bread?"

"Bread is good," Alice said. She was a bit confused why he choose bread in particular. It was such an odd suggestion to her but then again she told him he could choose. And she didn't have anything against bread anyway.

Frank nodded and continued on with the walking. Bread?

"Er, we won't just have bread, you know," he added after a while. "Maybe bread and soup? Maybe we'll ask the elves what's good for today? Or maybe we'll just binge! Mmm."

Binging. Frank loved to binge.

Alice was as equally as confused as Frank. "Soup sounds good too. Or binging is good too, I guess," she smiled wondering why they had such a hard time deciding on food.

"Is there anything you prefer, Alice?" Frank asked, hopelessly. Somehow, this was not how he had imaged their 'lunch' to be. "I mean, if you want something, just say it. Anything at all! If you want uh...dragon meat or something...I'll get it!"

He chuckled, despite himself.

Alice started to laugh hysterically. "You know, we're really horrible at this!" She said in between breaths, "We can't even decide what to eat!" She wasn't sure why she found it so funny. Though the factor of herself and Frank going back and forth between what to eat was probably one of the reasons.
