When: Saturday Afternoon, because he needs sunshine and he works days

Fabian decided to spend some time on a bench in Hogsmeade, doing nothing more than sitting on a random bench just out of the way of the mainstream traffic. He had bought a mango slushy drink from a cafe on the corner, and was currently reading a novel that he had randomly bought because he enjoyed the cover art - lush countryside and rose-cover cottage by a stream.

Upon reading a few chapters of the book, Fabian encountered a rather racy scene. He figured that it was just something random - for all good stories needed an element of romance - and continued reading. ...until it happened several more times, for random and rather unsupported reasons. Puzzled, Fabian flipped the book over and read the back. Apparently he had accidently picked up a romance novel.

Well. The title 'Briar's Rose' and the shopkeeper's raised eyebrow made more sence, now. Fabian considered abandoning the book, but he was quite comfortable in his position on the bench, and was not inclined to people watch when he was trying to relax. He continued reading it, sort of getting into the flimsy plot.

Who James Potter
When April 29th.
Where the library, shortly after his journal entry.
Why James is suckering up too many words just to say he's bored.
Rating PG-13 to start off.
OPEN to all.

James huffed as he made his way to the library. He was either delusional or stupid to think that anyone would want to show up to a library just to talk to him. Well, he did understand the 'wanting to talk to James Jonathan Potter' part. He just didn't think anyone would show up to the library, jusf to have a chat with him. It was the library, atfer all.

Sitting at one of the chairs and cracking a book open, he began to read it. However, he only reached the preface and found that it was fifty pages long, so he closed the book after a half of a page of boring droll. Propping his head in his hands, he almost nodded off for a bit, while pulling over a book on Quidditch and glancing through it.

Waking up on the wrong side of the bed

(Any Slytherins, feel free to reply! ^^)

Words, symbols and numbers bore across the backs of his eyelids as he attempted to drift off into sleep. Evan had spent half of the day in the library, flipping through pages and pages of dusty tomes, despite the fact that he had already completed his homework for the week. The Slytherin boy had a lust for knowledge that had won him biting remarks and, more recently, mistrust. Behind his back, other members of his House berated him, snickering behind pale hands that he would have been better fit for Ravenclaw. He ignored their comments with tight smile and a shrug of the shoulders.

What did he care for their remarks? He was content, for he had a secret that would carry him through the next year of school. At sixteen, he had a deep-seeded hatred for them all, for those who did not admire him for who he was, for what he was, for what he could be.

Evan gave up attempting to fall asleep and tore himself from his sheets. He retrieved his glasses from beneath his pillow, opened his bed-curtains with an irritated jerk and shrugged on a bathrobe. He left the dormitory and his sleeping roommates, padding quietly down the stairs to the common room, his bare feet slapping softly against the cold stone steps.

He paused at the bottom of the stairs, realizing that he was not alone. For a moment he held his breath, and then he released it with a snort, boldly taking the chair opposite from the other Slytherin.

“I suppose you couldn’t sleep either,” Evan stated with a raised eyebrow and a derisive curl to his lip.

Caradoc used the Floo to get to the Ministry. It was really early in the morning, just after dawn and he hadn't gotten much sleep. The Ministry was nearly empty, with a few people filing in and out, depending on their shift. Caradoc slowly made his way down to the holding area that was somewhere on the main floor. He'd only been there once or twice, but with the help of a few signs, he managed to find his way. There was one guard standing by the door that he vaguely recognised from his Hogwarts days. The guard directed him to the sign in sheet and eventually granted him access to the cell that Fabian was being held in. He stood a few feet away from the bars.

"Alright, you. Wake up!" The guard shouted, banging on the bars with something that made a horrendous noise.

"You didn't have to do that." Caradoc said.

The guard shrugged and left the room.

James sauntered lazily through the halls without taking notice of anyone who was walking past him. He was tired of feeling, or for that matter being a ghost, and thought it a good idea to leave the confines of the common room and stretch his legs a bit.

He walked down the nearest staircase and headed towards the great hall, thinking if nothing else it would be a good idea to get some food after the particularily hard quidditch practice he had just come back from.

He walked into the hall and slumped down in any seat, not seeing any welcoming faces at the gryffindor table. As he took a bite he sighed wishing he had something exciting to do...

Andromeda had conjured up a fire in the less-than-cozy parlor fireplace, and was sitting as curled up as she could under a blanket without putting her feet on the nice furniture-- for the taboos of her youth still dictated when she was home. She had read a How-To on Muggle knitting, but it was proving so difficult that she had to magically fix nearly every stitch. It was probably only because of this she was making some progress, a bright blue scarf now stretched out over her lap. She wasn't entirely sure if she wanted company or not, considered who the company would be, but it was probably inevitable.

Caradoc found himself in the Three Broomsticks quite often lately. While The Leaky Cauldron was his more familiar haunt, with Dumbledore wanting people in and out of Hogsmeade frequently, he figured he could do both. And while he owed the bartender at the Hogs Head money, the Three Broomsticks was the place to be. He hadn't seen anything suspicious around the place since that weekend and he'd made an appearance almost regularly. He always ordered a firewhisky, though he never drank it. Although each day he wondered if he was any closer to actually taking a sip. He stared out a window that faced the main street and he watched the people do their shopping and he gave his glass a brief, withering glance.

As usual, things around the castle had a moment of excitement that quickly boiled into the inane boredom that always hovered around the castle. Not much was getting done with the end of the term coming up so soon and people were too busy gossiping about what they were going to do on holiday, the plans their families had, and the gifts they were planning on buying. Regulus found himself, as usual, out of the social circles of the school which didn't bother him as much as it had previously. However, with Christmas coming soon, he still hadn't decided whether he was going to stay at the school for the holiday or head back to Grimmauld Place. He sat in the library skimming through a Quidditch magazine doing his best to further prolong the decision. He sighed loudly and tossed the magazine onto the table and watched it skid to a stop amidst someone else's things.

He sat at the Gryffindor table writing out a preliminary list of Christmas presents he still needed to procure and as it was two days until the next scheduled Hogsmeade visit and there had been no word to if it was still going to happen, he was starting to wonder how he was even going to get his gifts to the people he needed to get them to. Absentmindedly running the feather quill across his face, he stared into nothingness, lost in his thoughts.

As witnessed by Remus Lupin:

I don't know how it started but there was screaming and a crash from a sign falling down on some people. Then there were explosions and fires and soon curses started flying all around. A few of the seventh years who happened to be around jumped in and tried to fight the ones causing it. I think they were the same people from Nottingham. In fact, I'd almost bet my chocolate stash on it. Same masks, same black cloaks. Cowards is what they are, attacking Muggles and students. I have to say, I did my part against one of them, They had one of the seventh years cornered and I managed to get a few good hexes in there until I was knocked back against a wall and blacked out. I woke up with a vaguely looking man over me, I think I saw him at Nottingham too. Everything was pretty much a blur after that. My headached and I had difficulty focusing my vision for awhile and before I knew it I was in the Infirmary.

Hogsmeade November 25

As reported by Caradoc Dearborn:

Once I received your message I apparated to Hogsmeade once I managed to get away from the Muggles I had been with at the time. Most everyone was already there at the time and everyone was fighting. I don't know what had happened before we got there, but the place was a mess. Most of hte students had run inside, a few of them were fighting, and a few of them were lying in the snow. I checked most of them first and they appeared to have just been stunned. They were mostly conscious, those that weren't were quickly regaining consciousness. There was a sign from The Three Broomsticks that had fallen to the ground and there were some cuts and bruises from that and I think someone had a broken arm, but everyone was alive. It wasn't long before I was targeted by one of the Deatheaters and there was quite a fight for awhile but eventually most of them drew back and disapparated and the others remained until they were finally convinced they were outnumbered. Something that wouldn't have happened without help from a few of the students, mind you. They were stubborn little buggers, though. There was some major damage done to the buildings, but it doesn't seem that any of the students were seriously hurt. Edgar Bones got knocked in the head with a nasty hex. I'm still not sure what it was, but nearly almost everyone else was unscathed. It was lucky that they weren't out for the kill because they could have got more than half the student population with no trouble. Perhaps its time to step up security.

Hogsmeade November 25th

As reported by anonymous Deatheater #5:

Hosgmeade was swarming with brats from the school. In fact, there didn't seem to be many adults around at all. It was quite difficult not to injure any of the kids, as they really were everywhere. Someone, I'm not sure who, fired a curse at The Three Broomsticks that caused its sign to crash down onto a crowd of people. I couldn't tell if any of the students were involved. I'm sure they were though. Nobody was directly cursed, though. In a quarter of an hour there were quite a few fires in the streets, some of the store fronts were badly damaged, and someone had set the Dark Mark above the place. It was only a matter of time before Dumbledore's lot showed up. After that there was quite a bit of duelling going on. Some of the brats tried to take on a few of us and a few of them lasted for a while, but most of them ended up in the snow. We called it quits shortly after, as you had instructed not to injure any of the students and it was getting more and more difficult to do so. I retreated then and a few others stayed behind. I'm not too sure what happened after I left...

Once she was ready, nothing to fancy, just not school clothes, she made her way down to the common room, figuring it would be the easiest place to meet.

She found the common room to be fairly empty, except for a few firsties, and made herself comfy on ont of the couches. She settled in with a book, awaiting for James to pop his messy head out.

She sat herself down gracefully on the stone bench and crossed her right leg over her left as she leaned down and pulled her Transfiguration book from her satchel and opened it up to the days lessons, hoping to get at least a few minutes of review and studying in, perhaps a mental start on her homework, before someone bothered her.

Lucius took off his outer robe and banished it away for safekeeping, along with his inner robe, and the cane that Rodolphus had gotten him for his most previous birthday. He stood in the center of the floor, eyes spelled to see magic residues, dressed in black dress pants and a loose white shirt, with glittering dragon hide shoes, and his usual assortment of rings.

Though it was his first job since his father's death, it did not provide him with any stress or strain on his psyche. He was a Malfoy, and they were never emotionally effected for long. Lucius had been raised properly, and he was going to live up to his name, for his father's memory and for himself.

The Lord of the Malfoy Manor observed the flat, making note of spesific areas to pay particular interest to. With this in mind, he started shrinking the furniture and belongings and putting them into a spell-sealed box.

One of the women in the Transportation Department had slicked his hair back and added deep scarlet streaks to it. Apparently it made him look a little more 'homicidal.'

After correcting the silver watch that he had found in one of his jacket pockets, Fabian decided to finish hanging up a sign that directed children to the Haunted House.

Marlene had made him last year, but she wasn't on his case as much this time so he could slide by. He grabbed his robes and headed down the stairs and out the common room door.

People were milling around in the hallways, mostly discussing their costumes. Severus rolled his eyes in responce and walked right by them. He didn't really want to deal with them, but he hadn't talked to Marlene or anyone in so long he was starting to wonder if they still existed.

He rounded a corner and walked purposefully towards the Great Hall. Hopefully he could have a nice quiet chat with Marlene or a fellow Slytherin and make it back to his room in one piece.

He had been careful to wash his hands after being in the dormitories for fear of catching what would inevitably come (his hands were dry and cracked, now). Still, the sneezes escalated and he found himself drifting in and out of attentiveness. The only thing good about this was that it took his mind off his otherwise plaguing thoughts.

This afternoon, however, Peter found even classes to be unbearable. On the way to Transfiguration, he merely dropped into the window ledge in the nearest corridor, closing his eyes to try to sleep. However, he couldn't get it out of his mind that his pants were wrinkled. He ran his hands over his legs over and over again, trying to get them out, absent-mindedly as he muttered to himself about the brightness of the window preventing his rest.

He was pretty sure that he knew what had happened - he had caught a bit of Sirius' wizarding cold, but pretty sure wasn't good enough.

'Besides', he thought to himself, 'how could some stupid cold explain them?' Finally reaching the confines of the library, as it would be the last place anyone would look for him, he slipped inside and headed for the backmost area, which would grant him the privacy that he seemed to be lacking as of late, avoiding everyone's eyes who looked in his direction.

Remus had been dealing with the overwhelming urge to cry all day. For some reason, ever since the Hogsmeade trip, he'd been nearly always in tears. He did his best to hide it from his dorm mates. He knew it would probably freak Sirius out and potentially draw ridicule from the others. He didn't normally cry, as he didn't really feel that he had much need for it. He'd gotten over most of his self pity by the time he was 12 and now he was just greatly irritated by this sudden bout of almost constant tears.

He was sitting on his bed in the dorm with his curtains drawn, reading a large book of spells that could potentially be causing this strange behavior. First Sirius, then him... Who knew who could be next? He pushed up his reading glasses, as they had been sliding down his nose. He found this incredibly frustrating, which just caused the tears to come all the more. He sat on his bed crying with the book in his lap until he heard someone enter. He stayed as quiet as he could, sniffling in spite of himself.

Once sitted she took all the need untensile from her bag and placed them out neatly about her half of the table. Once done, she looked at all she had set out and smiled.
